Jolyne "Jan" R. Blanton

Mrs. Jolyne R. Blanton, age 82, of Pensacola, Florida passed away February 26, 2016. She was born August 31, 1933 in Escambia County Florida to the late Boyd Haning Reeder and Pauline Harrison Reeder. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blanton was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Blanton 1997 and Leonard Wiggins 2006.

Mrs. Blanton is survived by her husband, James Hales of Pensacola, FL; a son, Michael Carley and wife, Louise of Orange Park, FL; a daughter, Avis Berry of Virginia; a step-son, Michael Blanton and wife, Marsha of Demopolis, AL; a step-daughter, Linda Moore of Pensacola, FL; eight grandchildren, Billy Moore and Bryan Moore; Benjamin Carley, Jeremy Carley, and Carmen West; Lindsay Fralick and Michael Blanton; Amber Jessee; and 12 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Oaklawn Funeral Home with Dr. Barry Howard officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice. We would like to thank all that helped in the caring of Jan.
