So very sad, and truly wish I could be there in person. Uncle Joe will be seriously missed. However, I will continue to remember all the good times, like chasing crabs in the Gulf when we visited him as kids.

No amount of words can make up for the loss. Uncle Joe will be mourned for a long time to come.

I really do not have the words to express my thoughts. I have fond memories of uncle Joe from when we all lived in Miami and from various family gatherings throughout the years.

I wish I had words to help sooth the loss but that is not possible. Please know my thoughts are with all of the family and friends.

Love to all,
Rob and Jeannie Cook

Grandpa Joe is a man of honor, morals, and love. If everyone could only take a page from the book of Joseph Cook the world would be a better place. He lived for others, not himself! Nothing was more important to him than his family. I will forever miss him and will never forget him. He is what is right in the world, your legacy in life and death will continue, I promise. I love you for eternity. Please find peace now with Grandma. Forever and forever I will remember you.

Love you alway,

Sandy Curts

I cannot find the words that will take away the heartache that you are going through, because they don’t exist. I do know that time makes it a little easier. You cling to all the memories to make things better. My heartfelt prayers are flowing for all of you. Uncle Joe was one of a kind. He will truly be missed. He had the most beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor. His smile was contagious. Love and blessings to all.

It’s so difficult to lose anyone you love, but when it’s a parent, it can be especially hard. While my words cannot take away any of your pain, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have a favorite Irish poem that always brings me comfort. I hope it does the same for you.

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.
Love leaves a memory no one can steal."

Love to All,
Donna, Greg, and Family
