

Josephine is the oldest of 9 children, she was born on February 20th, 1924 in Cotton Plant, Florida to A.W. and Leone Strickland.
She married Aaron Lee Cannon (Dec) on July 6, 1942 in Ocala, Florida.
Aaron and Josephine moved to Pensacola, Florida, where they raised three children:
Sandra Bullard (John), Larry Lee Cannon (Joan), Mary Alice Sosh (Dec) (John).
She is survived by three grandchildren: John Bullard, Jr (Reanna), Catherine Bailey (James), Megan Delisse (JD), and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters:
Norine Gilstrap, Inverness, Florida, and Arena Thompson, Inverness, Florida.
Josephine has been an active member of Warrington Presbyterian Church for over 70 years, serving on various committees. She was also a Hospital volunteer for many years. Josephine enjoyed going to Pensacola Beach, even as recently as October, 2022. She enjoyed entertaining, traveling, shopping, and reading, especially her Bible. She was blessed with many friends, good neighbors, and Church associates.
A Visitation for Josephine will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with Funeral Service to follow from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. Graveside Service will immediately follow from 11:00 am to 11:30 am at Barrancas National Cemetery,
