A very damn good woman, mother, wife, and grandmother was called home Thursday morning, October 8, 2026. Though we simply don’t know how we're supposed to navigate this life without her, we'll learn to carry her with us every day - because having known her was truly a blessing and a privilege.
She was a hard-working, dedicated woman who made her presence known in a man’s field and never backed down. She worked hard. She kept going. She showed up. She built a life and a family, and she loved her people in the way only she could.
Shorty was survived by her loving family. Her husband of almost thirty years, Kevin Estridge; her children, Joseph Locke, Bayse Locke, Amber (Alex) Estridge and Tasha Estridge; grandchildren, Tyler Giles, Devany Locke, Haley Giles, Ethan Giles, Cyleigh Giles, Adelynn Frederick, Natalee Hart, Tanner Frederick, Clayton Frederick; a niece that was very dear to her, Kari Pressley; her sister, Wanda Pressley; many longtime friends, including: Brenda Braun, David Parker, and Kim to name a few. She kept those she loved very close to her and maintained her friendships with her coworkers throughout her numerous years in the construction industry. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Marse and Joyce Pressley.
Everything she taught us, everything she gave us, and every piece of her that lives in her children and grandchildren will continue on. She will forever be in every lesson, every memory, every laugh, every stubborn streak and every bit of strength she passed down.
Until we meet again.
