Joyce was born April 05, 1937 in Jay, Florida to Charles L. Holloway and Gladys Clarke Holloway. She is a retired Elementary School teacher and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Pensacola.
Preceding Joyce in death are her parents and her husband, Billy F. Mitchell.
Joyce is survived by her son, William Mitchell and wife, Janet; son, Bremon Mitchell; grandsons, Ryan and Joshua Mitchell; brother, Gary Holloway; sisters, Betty Markham, Carolyn Browning and Elaine Busch.
As per her wishes Joyce will be cremated.
