Helen Juanita Moore McLean, age 94, passed away November 24th, at the home of her daughter. Juanita was born in Panama City, Florida on October 10, 1925 to O.L. and Estelle Moore. She grew up in Pensacola where she met and married the love of her life, George W. McLean. They were happily married for 65 years until his death in 2006. She and her husband were very devoted, loving Christian parents and raised three children. Active members of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday school class for 45 years. Her hobbies were painting photos and pictures, wood working and gardening. She always enjoyed large family gatherings and celebrating all holidays and many family birthdays. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Glenn) Beech; sons, David McLean, and Miles (Kathy) McLean all of Pensacola. She has seven beautiful and loving grandchildren, Rev. Robert (Terry) Govoni Jr., Angela (Roger) Commander, David McLean Jr., Kimberly McLean, George McLean, Kassie McLean and Jason (Ashleigh) McLean; seven great grandchildren, Branda (Zac) Cebollero, Chase Commander, Cole Commander, Bobby Govoni, Anthony Govoni, Caleb McLean, and Marina McLean; and a special niece, Kay Severy. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons and Great-Grandsons. The Family will have visitation at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Wednesday, November 27 at 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm. Bob Govoni ( her grandson) will be officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, next to her late Husband . Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
