Julia Evelyn Montgomery
November 10, 1959 – October 10, 2020
On Saturday, October 10, 2020, Julia Evelyn Montgomery, devoted mother to five children & seven grandchildren, passed away at the age of 60.
Julia, better known to all as “Julie”, was born on November 10, 1959 in Pensacola, FL to Al and Margaret Montgomery. Throughout her life, Julie worked in various professions and for various companies. She managed several convenience stores over her tenure that made up the bulk of her working career. Julie raised two sons, James and Justin, and one daughter, Jessica. She also raised two daughters, Alex and Samantha, through legal guardianship upon the death of her brother, Tim Montgomery.
Julie had a passion for music and art. She played the piano and guitar (acoustic), and created several amazing paintings & drawings throughout her life that are a part of her children’s households. However, above all else, Julie loved being a mother, grandmother, and caretaker. She took care of so many family members and friends over her lifetime. Her door was always open to anyone in need. She was a beautiful woman, both inside and out, and had the most beautiful smile and compassionate heart. Julie had the most selfless spirit, and took joy and gratitude to be able to help others who may have been struggling or in need.
Julie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn, father, Al, mother, Margaret, and brother and sister, Tim and Jennifer. She is survived by her sons, James and Justin, and three daughters, Jessica, Alex, & Samantha. Julie is survived by her grandchildren; Joshua, Sarah, Brianna, Julia, Sophia, Mylah, and Priscilla.
Due to the ongoing Pandemic, for the safety & well-being of everyone, a small private funeral service will be held for only family and close friends.
Over the past few days prior to my mother’s passing, she was very saddened to hear of a friend’s 5 year old daughter who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. To carry on my mother’s compassionate spirit, we are asking in lieu of flowers, if anyone would like to make a donation, please make a donation in her honor to the following link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/255215119160139/?ref=share. It would be greatly appreciated.

I remember Julie when she was my daughter Diane's best friend. Through the years Julie willingly & graciously took on the role of mother to her own children along with Timothy's girls. RIP Julie you have earned it!💕🙏❤🙏❤
