I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.
2 Timothy 4:7 NLT
Justin was born on November 23, 1988 to David E. Seckinger Jr. And Kimberly Seckinger in Gainesville, FL. After Justin graduated from West Florida High School of Advanced Technology in 2007, he went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering from the University of West Florida.
After graduating, Justin began his career at Payday HR Solutions. However, his entrepreneurial spirit soon led him to start his own business, and in 2015, he transitioned full-time to running Seckinger Fencing.
Justin married Brianna in 2012, and together they shared a life filled with adventure, traveling, and cherished vacations. In 2018, their greatest joy arrived when they welcomed their son, Cooper, into the world.
Over 12 years of marriage, Justin and Brianna built a bond rooted in love, trust, and loyalty—an enduring connection that many only dream of experiencing in a lifetime.
Justin was preceded in death by his daughter, Brooklyn Seckinger, paternal grandparents, David Edwin Seckinger Sr. and LaVerne Seckinger, maternal grandparents, Clinton and Norma Jean Downing and aunt, Rhonda Jean Hollie.
He is survived by his wife, Brianna Seckinger, son, Cooper Seckinger, parents, David and Kimberly Seckinger, brother and sister in law, David and Lauren Seckinger, niece, Taylor Seckinger, nephew, Luke Seckinger, in-laws, Mark and Beth Cooper, and many other family members and friends.
Services will be held at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church on December 4, 2024 at 11:30 am.
Justin was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son and brother, and above all, a passionate follower of Jesus. His life radiated the joy of the Lord, and his love for people was a testimony of God’s grace in action.
Justin’s faithfulness, servant’s heart, and ever-present smile were just a few of the many incredible things about him.
He was a cornerstone of love, support, and encouragement at the Men's Barn Meeting, Karting for Christ and as the Marcus Pointe Beulah deacon. For years, he has always selflessly poured his heart into serving others, by starting a college ministry, Undone, teaching small groups, and countless acts of kindness whenever he saw a need.
All of his life, and especially this last year, his unwavering faith reflected the love of Christ in every interaction.
Though our hearts ache, we celebrate the legacy Justin leaves behind. His departure leaves an unfillable void in our lives, yet we find comfort in the memories and everlasting love we shared. While our hearts mourn the loss, we have peace in knowing he is no longer suffering and now in the presence of His Savior.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.
Revelation 21:4 NLT
Justin's legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire us all.
A special thank you to his entire Marcus Pointe Baptist Church Family. We would also like to thank Dr. Alexander Brown, Ashley Galbraith and especially Mary Bess Luitwieler at Sacred Heart Cancer Center.
