1949-2016
Larry Ray Shelby, 67, was born on May 15, 1949 in Pensacola, Florida and passed away on December 27, 2016. He was born and raised in Pensacola. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; children Totsie, Mandy, Bridgette, Tanya and Michael; Sons-in-law Bubba, Nathan, Jughead, Larry; daughter-in-law Katie (Rhome); grandchildren Carl, Sydney, Savannah, Glenn, Brayden, Trey, Harleigh, Ayla and Aiden, brothers James (Shirley), Terry “Buddy” (Janet), sisters Peggy, Marsha (Louis Cobb); in-laws Louise and Doug Hadley and gobs of nieces and nephews.
A retired Army veteran, Larry loved his family, Perdido River Sports Club, fishing, hunting and boating. He was a prankster and loved scaring the mess out of us all. He was a mean old man that everybody loved.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 4:00-5:00 pm Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, immediately followed by a service.
