Laura Robinson

Laura was born on June 18,1941 in Dora, Alabama to John and Leona Piper. She was the youngest of seven children.

She married Paul Robinson on December 23, 1961. As a pastor's wife and a U.S. Navy Chaplain's wife Laura embraced the unique demands and blessings of military and civilian life. Together, Laura and Paul navigated numerous deployments, relocations, and the challenges of raising a family while Paul was at sea and abroad. They enjoyed many years of retirement before Paul passed away in 2019. Laura’s kindness, compassion, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on countless people. Her life was a beautiful example of faith, grace, and love.

Laura was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Amanda Conley and David; her grandchildren, Ben, Jake Conley, Evan Conley, and Marissa Conley; and her great-granddaughters, Emma Conley and Everleigh Conley. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul, and her grandson, Hunter.

The Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, 500 N Palafox Street on Monday, July 6, 2026. Visitation will begin at 1:00 with the service to follow at 2:00. She will be laid to rest on Wednesday, July 8 at Chapel Hills Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL.
