Lavaughn “Brad” Bradley, Sr., 86, of Pensacola, FL went home to be with our Lord on Monday, August 15, 2011.
He was born on July 19, 1925 in Conecuh County, AL and moved to Pensacola in 1938. Brad was a member of Beach Haven Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Warrington Elks Lodge #2108. As one of the first licensed Master Plumbers, holding license #3 in Escambia County, Brad started Bradley Plumbing Company 66 years ago and continued operation until his death. Brad who was known to be a caring, generous person by numerous friends, and as a wonderful Dad and Grandfather was a perfect example of helping others in need.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Wister Bradley and Nancy Lucille Wiggins and his sister Willie Mae Mitchem.
He is survived by his devoted daughter and son, Linda Sue Pulos and Lavaughn “Buddy” Bradley, Jr. (Brenda). He has two brothers, Mervyn Bradley (Linda) and James D. Bradley (Gail); one sister, Betty Faye Vasko (Jack); four grandchildren, Lisa Ward (Randal), Anthony Pulos, Amanda Bradley and Matthew Bradley; two great grandchildren, Brandi Ward and Randy Ward; twelve nieces and nephews, Michael W. Bradley, Ronald D. Bradley, and Diana L. LaCarruba, John David Bradley, Melissa Prince, Laura Gallagher, Sherry Mons, Sandy Dawson, Shawna McNeil, Brian Mitchem, Joe Vasko, and Debbie Rathbone. Numerous friends and his loving dog “Boo” will also miss him immensely.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Dr. Dale Patterson and Rev. John Stacey officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Bradley, Randal Ward, Randy Ward, Michael W. Bradley, Ronald D. Bradley and John David Bradley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2011 at BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, FL.
