Lemuel Hornsby, 83, of Pensacola, FL died Wednesday October 14, 2015 at home. Lem was born in Jack, Alabama to Lemuel Hornsby and Bessie Hornsby. Lem is preceded in death by his parents Lemuel and Bessie Hornsby. Brothers, Mack, LJ, LeVade, Calvin, Melvin, Billy, and James. Sister Imma Lee Clark. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Rose Hornsby, a Brother, Stancel (Edna) Hornsby, sister, Peggy (Bill) Lewis, Sister in Law, Anna Bethune (Nelson), Carol Slack (Leon), Cupedian Horsnby, Lila Mae Hornsby, Corene Hornsby, Brother in Law, Adron Brewster (Charlotte) and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in memory of Lem to the charity of your choice or The Humane Society, 5 North G Street, Pensacola, FL.
Our lives were made better by loving and having been loved by Lem. Graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 at EASTERN GATE MEMORIAL GARDENS & FUNERAL HOME, 1985 W. Nine Mile Rd. Pensacola, FL 32534.
