Lewis Edward Bush

Lewis Edward Bush, 92, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 at home. He was born July 30, 1931 in Sanford, Alabama to parents Edward and Addie Bush. He met his wife, Ruth Moody, in high school and they married July 24, 1950 and were married for 70 1/2 years. He worked as a painter and in construction his whole life until finally retiring. He was a wonderful, loving, and devoted husband and father. He was also devoted to and loved all his family. He was a good friend to everyone he knew and was always willing to help them out whenever he could. He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Frankie Bush (Fran); daughter Anna Bush (Jan Dillard); grandson Richard Fulton Jr. (Dawn); two great granddaughters, Natasha Jones and Brynlie Fulton; three great great grandsons; brother-in-law Roger Moody (Kay), sister-in-law Janice Norman (Nick).

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 at 1:00pm at Bayview Memorial Park. Please join us in remembering and honoring the life of Lewis Edward Bush.
