Obituary of Linda Beebe Hill
Linda Beebe Hill, age 71, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Linda was born March 14, 1951 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Frederick and Carrie Beebe. She attended college at OWJC in Fort Walton Beach and then at UWF in Pensacola. Linda became a teacher and truly loved being an educator. She began teaching at AA Dixon where she taught for 14 years. She then transferred to Beulah Elementary where she taught for 21 years. Her goal was to help every child in her class. There were many challenges to say the least, but Linda took them head on. Linda still kept in touch with a lot of he former students on Facebook. She would bump into her old students wherever she went and always had a smile on her face as she talked with them. Anyone who knew Linda would be able to answer this question. "Who was her prize student? Emmitt Smith who she taught in fourth grade". Linda never used to watch football, but Emmitt changed all that. She married her husband, Terence (Terry), Hill on June 24, 1972. She had three children, Erin, Stacy and Bradley. She was a very proud and good mother. She also had three grandchildren, Nolan and Carieanne who are Erin's children and Reagan who is Stacy's daughter. Every time she would see them she would hug and kiss on them until they could push away. Linda always had a smile and was loved by everyone. After 35 years of teaching Linda retired. She really loved her kids and even though she would not admit it she would have continued teaching. She kept in contact with her teacher friends almost on a daily basis, giving her suggestions and help if needed. Linda is survived by her younger Sister Cindy and younger brothers David and Curtis. There will be a Visitation held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, a Memorial will start at 11:00 am. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Hill family.
