Nancy L. Rhodes, age 87, of Pensacola, FL died Sunday, March 13, 2011 after a long illness. She was born in Florala, AL on May 11, 1924, to William Mose and Nettie Leonard. She was one of twelve children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel B Rhodes and son Leroyce Rhodes. She is survived by her son Donnie C. Rhodes of Gulf Breeze, FL and daughter Betty Booth of Brewton, AL; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Kelly of Pensacola and Mrs. Lil Pridgeon of Prattville, and two brothers, Jack of Monicello, MS and Floyd of Florala, AL and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Covenant Hospice S. Central, AL Office, 1023 Douglas Ave. Suite 204, Brewton, AL 36426. Eastern Gate Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
