

He was born in Holmes County, Florida on November 1st, 1933 to Charlie and Daisy Spivey. He was married to Faye Bell Spivey for 67 years. Louis served his Country honorably in the Air Force and retired after 20 years. He also continued to serve as a Pastor after his retirement.
Louis had a passion for the ministry and his family. He loved bowling and had an all-time high score of 299.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Daisy, his siblings Gloria Jean, Harry Spivey, Betty Jane Spivey, and grandson Jared Griffin.
He was survived by his wife Faye Bell Spivey, daughters Maria (Sid) Hiers, Karen (Roy) Overstreet, Luann (James) Schofield, Barbie (Mark) Beinke, and sons Charley (Beverly) Spivey, Troy (Debbie) Spivey; brother Gerald Spivey; sister Dorothy Maggard and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation for Louis will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Calvary Way Full Gospel Church, with a funeral service to follow at 11:30. Following the service there will be a procession to Barrancas National Cemetery. Minister Malcom Thomas will be presiding.
