Lyn K. Shepherd was the most gracious lady I have ever known. I met her 37 years ago while courting my Dad. I thought Dad was a very lucky guy. Lyn was such a blessing to him and the rest of our family. She welcomed us and loved us as her own. We will never forget you Lyn and your presence you graced us with always. We love you and will see you on the other side.

We remember many social occasions with Lyn and Bill at Dan and Freddie's house. She always spoke glowingly about her stepchildren and grandchildren. We hate to miss the memorial service, but we will remember Lyn fondly.

Lyn was always a happy person with a smile for every body. I worked at Baptist at the same time she was there and thought so much of her. RIP Lynn.

Grandma Lyn was truly a wonderful lady. I remember many times as a child spending the night at her and my grandpa's house with all of my siblings and cousins - she was so welcoming, and made us all feel right at home every single time. I am grateful to have had such a wonderful, additional grandma with such a kind and gracious spirit. Thinking of you with love and fond memories, Grandma Lyn.

I have so many wonderful memories of Lyn and my father!. They always made Harry and I and my daughters feel so special with making so many frequent journeys to our home no matter where we lived all over the country, to be a part of all the special events in our lives.

Lyn loved to eat her ice cream and my children and I always had fun eating it with her. Lyn always went above and beyond when we would visit with them in Pensacola, visiting with us at the beach and bringing Po Folks dinners when they came. We thank you for just always being so warm and caring and joyful to all of us. We truly felt extremely fortunate when Lyn came into our lives 36 plus years ago and became such a significant member of our family. Lyn thank you for all the wonderfu memories, especially your 80th birthday, and we will celebrate your sweet life and your kind, giving, and gracious ways. You were a BLESSING to all of us. We love you lady! Hugs and Kisses FOREVER!!

I always remember Lyn as being warm and caring woman, especially towards us (grandchildren). She was very gracious anytime there was a family gathering. She loved her sweets and would always share with me (especially the mini sodas) :) I will miss visiting with her. I have learned how to treat people with dignity and grace, thanks to Lyn! I know she is no longer suffering and is smiling down on all of us. We love you Grandma Lyn!!
