A funny story written by the family: “She used to get really mad at her son Sean for throwing high school & pre-military parties at their home in Torrance. One time someone ate a roll off of a wall decorations that Sean never heard the end of. In addition back in 1987, her son Sean was in a horrible car accident in Germany. The Air Force and Red Cross sent Lynne and Sean’s father Bill to Germany to help in his recovery. Both Lynne and Bill Griffin were remarried to other people at the time. Both sets of parents all met at Los Angeles International Airport. Knowing Sean’s dad Bill was terrified of flying, Lynne said the following in front of all 4. She told Elvita (Seans step mother) “don’t worry Elvita I will seduce Bill on the plane”. She meant to say “Sedate” Bill on the plane. They all starting laughing in the airport terminal. That has been a family joke for nearly 40 yrs.”
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Vitas for the care and compassion they showed our beloved mother in her final days.
