Margaret Rae LeRoy Hansen was born in Lakeland, Florida September 21st 1931, and grew up on the island of Boca Grand, Fl. Margaret graduated from Florida Southern College with a degree in teaching, and met her husband, James Edward Hansen in Puerto Rico. They were married June 24th 1956, and moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1961. Margaret served as Organist at Warrington Presbyterian Church and sang in the Choral Society of Pensacola for many years. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
Margaret is preceded in death by her Husband, James Edward Hansen who passed away November 29th, 2021. Margaret and James Hansen were married 65 years.
Margaret is survived by her children, Leif Gilbert-Hansen, and Leslie Davis, their spouses Kyle Gilbert-Hansen, and Chris Davis, and her grandchildren Hilde Rae Davis, Eli Kepler Davis, and Parker Elizabeth Gilbert-Hansen
A Visitation & Reception for Margaret will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow the next day Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Warrington Presbyterian Church with Graveside Service immediately following at 1:00 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery.
