The beautiful soul of our beloved Margrette Ann Larsen, 73, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2024 after fiercely battling liver, kidney, and heart failure. Her fight and determination were only matched by her love for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry “Jud” Larsen; son, Rusty Larsen; son-in-law, Scott Heaton; big brother, Jerry Veasey; and parents, Myrtle Lampron and Foster Veasey.
Born on January 22, 1951 in rural Alabama, her family moved to Pensacola, FL where she enjoyed the majority of her days as a stay at home Mom, nursing assistant, and Escambia County school bus driver. Margrette was also a member of the Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. She was a talented artist with a love for music who would dance and sing like no one was watching although it did not phase her if they did. Uniquely herself until her last breath.
She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those left behind including her son, Kevin Veasey; daughters, Lutavia (Ronnie) Clemens, ReNee Larsen Nader; grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Shannon, Brandon (Kelley), Kayla, Tyler, Tarah (Brandon), Taylor; great grandchildren, Brianna, Jazlyn, Savanna, Jeremiah, Janiyah, Dallas, Liam, Braxton; 4 great great grandchildren with 1 on the way; brother, John (Susan) Veasey; sister-in-laws, Nancy, Leona, Dolly; faithful companion, Daisy; best friend, Diane (Peter); as well as extended family and friends.
Margrette loved life and a good time so we hope you will join us in celebrating her earthly days and heavenly homecoming on Friday, March 15th, at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens 1985 W 9 Mile Rd, Pensacola, FL 32534:
