Marguerite Ann Gustafson

Born on May 4, 1937, in Bradford, Pennsylvania, Marge lived a full and meaningful life centered around the people and things she loved most. She shared 65 wonderful years with her late husband, Jack Gustafson, a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

As a devoted military wife, Marge embraced the life that came with being married to a serviceman. She found her own meaningful way to serve, volunteering her time with the Red Cross and serving as a board member on the Council on Aging. Her quiet dedication to helping others was simply part of who she was.

Together, Marge and Jack traveled throughout the country, exploring new places and creating memories along the way. Their life together was filled with new experiences and countless moments that made their marriage a wonderful journey. Even after Jack's passing, the love they shared remained an important part of Marge's life.

Marge had a special love for gardening and enjoyed nurturing her plants with patience and care. She also loved to sew and bake as a way to show her family how much they meant to her.

Above all, Marge treasured her family. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Joan Grabau; son, John (Carmen) Gustafson; granddaughter, Jenny Carver; sisters, Jackie (Curt) Malone, Sue (Jim) Steen; and brothers Ted (Clara) Clark, and Rodney (Brenda) Osborne, and numerous nieces and nephews. The time they shared and the memories they created will remain with them always.

Whenever a flower blooms, a pumpkin roll is served, or a new destination is discovered, think of Marge—and remember a woman who knew how to find joy in life's simple gifts.

Rest peacefully, Mom. You and Dad can travel together again now.
