Maria M. Brown

Maria M. Brown, 83, of Pensacola, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was brought to Pensacola after marrying the love of her life, Thomas F. Brown, Jr. She was a loving wife, mother and friend that always put her family and others first. Mrs. Brown is survived by her two sons and daughter, Thomas Francis Brown, III (Betty), Marie B. Helton (Tim), Paul S. Brown (Becky), her brothers, Elia, Salvatore, and John Molinari, sister, Ann Caravella; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Thomas F. Brown, Jr., two brothers and one sister. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 21, 2013 at Little Flower Catholic Church with Fr. Casserly officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the funeral home. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Sacred Heart Hospital and the Naval Hospital for the care provided to our mom during her illness. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
