Marien Laline Peffley

Marien Laline Grodkiewicz Fraley Peffley, age 102, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, in Milton, Florida. Born on January 31, 1924, in Schenectady, New York, Marien lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, laughter, faith, and devotion to her family.

A proud Catholic woman with a vibrant spirit, Marien was the wife of two Navy servicemen throughout her life and carried the strength, resilience, and grace that came with supporting those who served. She found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life — dancing, singing, painting, and spending time outdoors. Her warm smile and infectious laughter could light up any room, and she had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and welcome.

Marien was a devoted mother to her two sons, Kenneth Fraley and Steven “Bucky” Fraley. She was also a cherished grandmother to Steven and Randall Fraley; great-grandmother to Caitlin, Jessica, and Austin Fraley; and proud great-great-grandmother to Austin Fraley Jr.

She will be remembered for her loving heart, her spirited personality, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. Marien was truly one of a kind, and her legacy of love and joy will live on through her family for generations to come.

Though deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she lived a remarkable life filled with faith, happiness, and love.
