1963-2016
Mark Edward Owen, 53, passed away on the 5th of July, 2016. He was born on the 5th of January, 1963 to Ralph and Thelma Owen. Living family members, who will miss him terribly, include his mother, Thelma Owen Simpson and Stepfather James Simson Sr., his brother David Walter Owen of Cantonment and his nephew David Kyle Owen of Pensacola. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Owen. He also leaves behind his beloved weenie dog Max and many cousins.
Mark was a veteran of the Air Force and was a part of the Red Knights (Fireman bikers), America Legion #340, ESR and ABATE.
The funeral service will take place at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 9:00-10:00 a.m., prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola.
