

Marsha Griffin, a beloved and humorous individual, passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on May 13, 1949, Marsha was known for her wit and friendly nature, traits that endeared her to all who knew her.
Marsha graduated from Crestview High School, where she was named wittiest of her class. Her sharp humor and love for adventure, including skiing in her youth and traveling, marked her early years and continued to bring joy to her adult life.
She dedicated many years of her career to BellSouth/AT&T, where she formed lasting friendships with her colleagues. Her career was marked by a commitment to her work and the people she worked alongside.
In her personal life, Marsha was an avid animal lover, known for her compassion towards any animal in need. Her friendly and upbeat spirit touched the lives of both people and animals alike. The mountains were her sanctuary, a place where she found peace and joy.
Marsha was cherished by her family, friends, and coworkers, leaving behind a legacy of humor, wit, and kindness. Her memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her sister, Barbara “Kaye” Mountcastle, her nieces, Dasha Teelin and Cathleena Mountcastle, and her nephew-in-law, Andrew Bennett, as well as great-nieces and a great-nephew… and also a family dog named “Chunky”. Marsha is preceded in passing by her parents, James and Ouida Griffin, and her beloved, long-time cat, “Scamper”.
