Martha “Marty” Lee (Eudy) Emerich, 88, of Pensacola, FL passed went to her Heavenly home on November 3, 2024. Marty was born November 21, 1935 to J. Maurice & Sophia Eudy in Cisco, TX. As a young girl, Marty joined the United States Navy where she proudly served 5 years. It was in this time that she met her soon to be husband, Ron. Marty and Ron traveled the world together with their family, living in Spain, Washington D.C., California, Guam, Hawaii, the Philippines and Japan.
Marty is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Ron Emerich; her children, Mark (Gail) Emerich, Dana (Stephen) Woodson and Andy (Becky Braswell) Emerich; , her grandchildren Heaven & Tony Gordon, Seth & Kayla Emerich, Logan & Holly Emerich, Angie & Evan Cooke, Jessica Bennet & Austin Mayes, Matthew, Ryan, Dane, and Larry, great-grandchildren, E.J., Dillon and Charlote, Melody, Hunter, Amelia, Aurora, Callie, Colton, Ethan, Kayleigh, ; and other loving family members in Texas and Wisconsin. She loved and cherished her family greatly.
Marty was a lover of country music and hummingbirds. So much so, that she dedicated much of her time and resources to feeding the neighborhood birds. Through her years, she remained strong in her faith and continued to be very dedicated to her church, Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.
A memorial service will be held at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. located on 6305 N. Blue Angel Pkwy, Pensacola, FL 32526.
