Mary Ann Henderson Dillard
Mary Ann Dillard, 83, passed away on March 9th,2023 at Wesley Haven Villa, Pensacola Florida. Wife to Sterling Dillard and Mother to Jimmy Dean and Donna Sue Dillard Kent.
Born in Milton Florida, the only child to Wilie and Corrine Henderson. Mary Ann attended and graduated from Pensacola High School. While still attending High School she met the love of her life, Sterling Dillard and shared 66 years of marriage together. She loved to sew for her family, enjoyed crocheting and crafting in her earlier years.
She was employed with various companies such as Tate Truck Center, Grice Electronics and General Motors as a bookkeeper and payroll clerk. She loved serving her church in various capacities as a sunday school teacher, nursery worker, and as a choir member . She served beside her husband in ministry as Senior Pastors at Ensley First Assembly as well as Gulf Breeze Assembly Of God.
Mary Ann Henderson Dillard is survived by her daughter, Donna Dillard Kent (Tony) Four (4) grandchildren, Eric (Julie) Kent, Joel (Jessica) Kent, Shandel (John) Sargent and LaTasha (Doc) Dillard Matthews, Eighteen (18) great grandchildren and Two (2) great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Sterling, her son, Jimmy Dean, and mother and father Willie and Corrine Henderson.
Celebration services and interment will be held on Tuesday March 14th at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 1985 W Nine Mile Rd. Pensacola, FL 32534. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am to 11:00am with services starting at 11:00am.
