After a long battle with cancer Mary passed away peacefully and without pain. Mary was surrounded by family members and will be greatly missed by her family as well as all those she has met. The family is thankful for the assistance of Covenant Care System for making her as comfortable as possible.
Mary was born in the Philippines and came to America in 1975. Mary loved to cook and garden and was a wonderful loving mother of seven children. Mary has touched so many lives and has always helped those in need whenever she could. Mary also loved to sew and helped to teach her children the same value that she possessed. All the children were taught early in life to have manners and how to cook. The girls are great cooks as well because of their mother. Mary would also take time in her busy schedule to teach other women how to cook dishes, which they liked to eat at our house. She was kind to everyone she met and also cooked for workers after Ivan, when they would be working to help fix our home. They all appreciated her kindness as well as the food she had prepared for them. This is what Mary did all the time for people that she would meet. Being in a military family, moving every few years was a common thing and Mary was always working hard to make sure that things went smoothly for everyone.
Mary is survived by her husband, Milo of forty six years along with seven children, Gemma, Helen, Grace, Sharon, Cherilynn, July and Jessie; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
