Mary Jean Robinson

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Mary Jean Robinson passed away from this life to make the transition to her heavenly home. She was 89 years old. She was born on May 26, 1937, in Camden, Alabama to Henry Crawford and Leannia Walker Crawford. At an early age, she was taught about the Lord whom she accepted and depended on for His grace, mercy, love, care, protection, guidance, and for the vastness of all that He is throughout her entire life. Her family moved to Pensacola where they found a church home, and she was dedicated to the worship of the Lord. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She was a dedicated and a hard worker who went above and beyond in her employment.

Mary was married to Robert Dee Robinson to whom she was dedicated and faithful. She loved and raised her children and did whatever she needed to do to take care of them. She had a kind and loving spirit and helped others whenever she could to the best of her ability. She loved and was always glad and excited to see and talk to her life-long friends. She was also excited when she met new people and blessed them with her conversations and with her kind and loving smile.

Mother Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Leannia Crawford, son, Allen D. Robinson, and her brother, Henry Lee Crawford.

She is survived by her husband Robert Dee Robinson, daughters, Lenora Brazile, Brenda Robinson, and Denise (Lewis) Brown, sons, Derwin Robinson and Lorenzo Robinson, 'son'-in-law, Robert Hudson, 'god' child, Carrie Chestnut, grandchildren - Keyeon, Kimyet, Keyniesha, Kawanna, Derwin, Kashima, Shakita, Darwin, Demarcus, Ashley, Travis, Kacey, Allen, Joshua, Zarah, and Caleb, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.

Visitation will be held at Church of Christ in Eastgate, 2809 Creighton Rd, Pensacola, FL 32504, US, on September 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Committal Service will take place at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL on September 12, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
