1921-2011
Mavis was born in Rose Hill, AL on April 11, 1921 to Emma Louis and John Newton Adams. At an early age their father moved them to Andalusia, AL. Her father passed away when she was 16 years old and she had to quit school to help support her family. She was the eldest child. She married Robert Kilpatrick on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1946. They lived in Andalusia for a few years and then moved to Mobile, AL in 1951. In 1966 they moved to Pensacola, FL where they remained. She loved her family and friends very much and always gave so much to everyone without hesitation. We thank Dr. Prevatt and the people at Consulate Health Care.
