1929-2016
Max Crook, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, was born September 9, 1929 in Elba, Alabama. He passed away peacefully in West Florida Hospital July 3, 2016.
Max moved to Pensacola in 1953 where he was employed at Monsanto (then Chemstrand) where he retired after 30 years of employment.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mamie Bowman Crook. He is survived by three daughters: Sheila Hamilton, Rhonda Alvarez and Kathy Musick, all of Pensacola; two sons: Joe Crook of Englewood, Florida and Keith Crook of Pensacola; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He will be sorely missed by family and friends. Rest in peace Daddy—we love you.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hospice in Pensacola.
The family will be holding a private service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
