Mei-Li passed away May 4, 2012 at Sacred Heart Hospital CCU in the presence of family and friends. Mei-Li bravely fought a month long battle with a sudden respiratory illness. She was born in Taipie, Taiwan.
She moved her family to Pensacola, Florida to provide a better life. She established and operated Mei-Lings Chinese Restaurant for 20 years.
Mei-Li was a loving, kind, and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her son Jerry Andrion and her daughter Lourdes Andrion Ventura. She is survived by her husband Cirilo Andrion, daughter Stella Andrion, grandson Jarrod Ventura, son-in-law Robert Ventura, special friends Sylvia Story, Nancy Smith, Pam Hill, Patricia Hawkins, Sharon Aydelott, Bob Hill, and Lee Lee Holt-Lucero.
Mei-Li was a remarkable role model never to be forgotten.
Our Family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of outstanding physicians, nursed, respiratory technicians, and chaplains for their tireless caregiving, nurturing, and compassion. A special thank-you to Dr. John Wagner and Dr. Jay Erickson for their valiant efforts, kindness, and care. Pastor Larry and Pastor Frank were constant comfort with their prayers and companionship.
Mei-Li went to be with the Lord in peace and gentleness surrounded by her family and friends and our family will forever be grateful to Dr. Mary Alano-Torres of Palliative Care, Erin Brown RN, and Pastor Ellen for this special gift.
Visitation will be 12-2PM Wednesday May 9, 2012 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel where refreshments will be provided. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM
