Mei-Li will always be "Mei-Ling" to me. She was like another grandma throughout my entire life. Whether it was making "Cashew Chicken without the Cashews" when I was a picky 5 year-old to sharing stories about married life at the Christmas dinner table just a few months ago, Mei-Ling was a genuine member of our family. Her presence will continue to be felt since she has left an indelible mark on this world through her positive influence on her children and grandchild. She will forever be remembered.

Our families have shared many good memories and good food together over the years. At the restaurant Mei-Li would always fix Justin's cashew chicken special. This was before we even knew her that well. I am especially glad we got to have time together this past Christmas. Three great qualities I know about Mei-Li are, she was a hard worker, she loved her family so much and I know she was a Christian. I know we will see her again.

I have known Mei-Li for almost nine years. During these years we have shared some good times and some bad, throughout both she was a model of grace and beauty. She was a person who was great in whatever facet of life she was in at the time. She was a great example of what strength and perserverance is all about, all the while making it look terribly easy. I will always be eternally grateful for the time we spent together. Thank you for sharing your life, friendship and your family with me.
