Merrie Lee was born to Ralph Fowler and Nancy Hoffman on July 21, 1959, in California. She is survived by her son Killian Farrington Tobin and his wife Amanda Riley Tobin, and her “second son” Taylor Scott Joiner.
Merrie Lee was a free spirit whose heart belonged to the ’70s. She had two exotic birds, Joy and Merlin, and two beautiful dogs, Murphy and Bailey. She loved rescuing animals. She had an eye for art and brought it to life with her love of jewelry and glass blowing. She had an obsession with the band Queen with her favorite song being “fat bottomed girls”. She also loved The Beach Boys with her second favorite song being “Surfin’ USA”. Most of all, Merrie Lee loved her son. Killian was the light of her life and her most prized possession.
A celebration of life will be held for Merrie Fowler at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel & Memorial Park in Pensacola on Saturday March 27th at 3:00 p.m. Friends and family who are not able to attend the service may view the livestream on Facebook at www.facebook.com/BayviewFisherPouChapel/live/.
The service will be followed by dinner at Merrie Lee’s favorite restaurant, McGuire's Irish Pub, in Pensacola.
