Myrtle A. Carlin, 89, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016. She was born October 17, 1926 in Pensacola, Fla. Myrtle is survived by her 3 sons Carl Jerry (Betty) Carlin, Thore D. Carlin Jr., and John M. Carlin and daughters Pat (Gene) Kay and Theresa Harden. She was preceded in death by husband Thore D. Carlin, and son David Carlin. She is survived by 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
A visitation will be at Oak Lawn Funeral Home Friday, February 26, 2016 at 12 -1 pm with a graveside service at Barrancas National Cemetery to follow at 1:15 pm. Pallbearers will be Gene Kay, Thore Carlin, Johnny Carlin, Jerry Carlin, Jason Braswell, and Todd Carlin. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. She will be truly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your local humane society. Oak Lawn Funeral Home will be entrusted with arrangements.
