

Jeannie was born on July 4, 1942, in Atmore, Alabama, to Elbert and Kathryn Singleton. She grew up in Pensacola, Florida, where she attended Pensacola High School.
Throughout her life, Jeannie held a variety of jobs, including working as a school cafeteria worker, waitress, and child care provider. She spent the later years of her working life as a seamstress at Vanity Fare in Milton, Florida.
Jeannie was a longtime, active member of the West Milton Church of Christ, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life.
Jeannie will be remembered for her kind and caring nature and for the love she shared with her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, working on jigsaw puzzles, and especially loved playing cards and board games with her grandchildren. Her family was a source of great joy and pride throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Kathryn Singleton; her brother, Austin Singleton; and her former husband, Eugene (Gene) Robinson.
She is survived by her siblings, Dan Singleton, Laura Dunaway, and Annette Ezell; her children, Richard Robinson, Joseph Robinson, David Robinson, and Lisa Robinson; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Jeannie leaves behind a loving family and many cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway 90E, Pensacola, FL 32503, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at the same location at 11:00 a.m.
