Ouita Joyce (Nee Campbell) Barrineau, departed this world on Tuesday, November 8th, after suffering many years of illness. A native Pensacolian. She was the daughter of James & Pauline (Spears) Campbell, born August 08, 1925. A graduate of Pensacola High School… class of 1943… and proud graduate of Florida State College for women 1947. Her area of expertise was science in which she excelled and was a microbiologist for the Bureau of Laboratories for the State of Florida.
A life long Baptist, she was a member of East Brent Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, her sister, Marie Cumby, High Point, NC; brother, Major (USMC) Retired G. Norman Campbell, LaFayette, L.A; and two infant sons.
She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Barrineau, her sister, Miriam Arnold, Sister-in-law, Barbara Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
