Pauline Metcalf, 86, of Navarre, died in Pensacola on August 14, 2023 after a brief illness.
She was born and raised in Pensacola but lived in California for over 30 years. There she met her last husband, the love of her life, Norman Metcalf. She and Norm were both on their third and final marriage, but had a happy and fulfilled 12 years before Norm's death. They enjoyed socializing and traveling with several close friends in California. After Norm's death she moved back to Florida to be closer to family.
She did not have any children of her own, but did have adult step-children from Norm- Neva Thorson of California and Steve Metcalf of Oregon. She is survived by her sister, Alice Blaker; niece Cheri and husband, Frank Miyagawa; and grand niece Jamie, all of Navarre; her brother, David French and his wife Betty Ruth; nieces KK and Mindy of Tampa.
Pauline loved to tell jokes, loved good food, and loved movies. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
