Her greatest and most proud accomplishments were raising her two boys, and being a grandmother. Peggie was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Barfield, her father, David Childress Sr. and her two siblings, Pamela Kendrick and David Childress Jr. She is survived by her mother, Peggie W. Childress. Her two sons; Matthew Barfield, Jesse Barfield(Brandy) , and her two grandchildren; Layla and Lilly Barfield. Her three sisters, Tina, Donna(Charlie), & Terrie. Her two brothers Eddie and Darek and many neices, nephews and cousins.
