Quintin J. Coppi

Quint was born on May 14, 1932 to Quinto and Letitia Coppi in Sagamore, Massachusetts. Quint stepped into Heaven June 10, 2026, 9:30 a.m., Destin, Florida, at the age of 94.

Quint is survived by his children...Linda...Lisa (Bruce)...and Steve (Renee). His grandchildren include Jamie (Mike)...Waynea...Bryson...Alicia...Nathan...Joshua (Hannah)...Justin (Claire)...and Josiah. His great grandchildren are Christopher, Alex, Lucy Rose, Elijah, Jeremiah, Micah, Mikala, Juniper, Mordecai and Millianna.

Quint graduated from Bourne High School, attended the University of Connecticut where he graduated, entered the Air Force and served 24 years. Quint met Carol Sue Cole as a lieutenant in Texas where they married, Dec. 28, 1957. He served in several different States and overseas in Vietnam. He retired from the Strategic Air Command, Bellevue, NE, went back to university and acquired his teacher's certificate. His career in education included years of classroom teaching and serving as principal at Bethany Christian School, Omaha.

Quint and Carol resided in Papillion for 50 years. In the 70's, they both had a life changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Quint committed his life to the Lord and served Him faithfully through church, Omaha Life Chain-Vital Signs and yearly Pro Life walks and events. He was a loving godly husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His family could always count on him for prayer, support and wise counsel. Quint and Carol loved reading and were active in a monthly book club in Omaha for over 30 years. They also had a love of travel and visiting friends and family. Their travel destinations included Puerto Rico, Belgium, Turkey, England, Italy, Colombia and Alaska 🙂 ...family reunions to Cape Cod and various missions trips. Quint passed on his love for jazz to his children and he always had a special love for the Cape...his hometown, Sagamore. His life was, indeed, one well-lived, to the glory of Christ his Savior. Though we grieve now and miss him, we look forward to when we'll see him in heaven.

Visitation for Quint will be held Thur. June 25, 2026 11-12 noon, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home...619 N New Warrington Rd, Pensacola FL 32506. A service will then be held, at noon, followed by a Sheriff Escort procession, 1:30 p.m. to Barrancas Nat'l Cemerary where Quint will receive full military honors at 2 p.m.
