

Ralph McEntire, Jr., age 83, of Pensacola, FL, originally from Rutherford County, N.C., passed away July 7, 2025, at the Vitas Hospice Unit at West Florida Hospital. He was survived by his wife, Kajiphan McEntire, of 22 years, his daughter Desiree Rose McEntire Breal, both of Pensacola, and his brother Jerry McEntire (Mill Spring, NC). Ralph was also survived by three grandsons, Kincaid Matthew Breal, Macario “Little Mac” Vincent Russell, and Iroh Michael Leonard, all of Pensacola. He was preceded in death by his son, Ralph McEntire, III, and his parents, Ralph and Irene Linder McEntire; sisters, Wilma Pearson and Brenda Jones; and brothers, Kenneth Marvin McEntire, Sr., and John Wayne McEntire.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beulah, in Pensacola, FL. Ralph was a veteran and served 28+ years with the U.S. Air Force (4 years 7 months) and U.S. Navy (24 years). Ralph retired as an E9 Command Master Chief from the U.S Navy before serving 14 years at the State Department as a Diplomat. During his 42 years’ service, he served in over 95 countries. Ralph retired from the State Department to spend time with his wife, Kajiphan, at their country estate in Pensacola. Ralph spent his spare time with his wife and family, riding his beloved Harleys and working on classic cars.
Visitation and funeral services to be held at the Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on 3351 Scenic Hills Blvd, in Pensacola, FL on Thursday, July 17, 2025: Visitation at 11:00 to 12:00 pm; service at noon in the chapel. Burial will be in the Barrancas National Cemetery at 2pm.
