Richard Alton George, 87, of Pensacola, entered into Eternal rest, Monday, August 23, 2010, at his residence. Richard the son of Alton V. and Ida L. (Butler) George was born on October 17, 2010 in Pensacola. He was united in marriage to Genevieve Davis Stewart. Richard served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ, in Pensacola.
Richard was survived by a son: Richard Carroll “Rick” George of Pensacola.
He was preceded in by his parents and his wife.
Graveside services will be 9:30 A.M. Friday, August 27, 2010, at Bayview Memorial Park, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Bayview Fisher- Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola.
