
Robert Boaz Story of his gifted life from GOD 1932-2024
Born in Matawa PA. He grew up with his brothers Ronald and Marlin and his cousin Doris playing, hunting, fishing in the area. He loved the local railroad and helped the local employee when mail bags were dropped. His great role models were his father, grandfather and uncles who all served in World War II. He learned to read as a young boy, and this continued for his entire life. Reading the Bible daily helped guide his life and enrich it in many ways. His teachers that inspired him.
He served in the Army reserve 1955 then went regular army 1964 then reserve for a few years. He traveled to California in the early 60’s. He worked with the local post office where he met and married his 1st wife Mardell. They brought daughter Jennie into this world. He helped raise his stepson, James. They were foster parents to Donald and adopted him and raised him in a loving home.
He worked for the US postal service, drafting contractor, Chevron for 7 years and El Segundo Police Department for 23 years. He worked for Hughes Aircraft/ GMC. He graduated from Pepperdine University with bachelor’s degree in public management & University of Southern California with master’s degree in public administration.
After 25 years of marriage Mardell passed. Few years later he married 2nd wife Fran. He retired and they moved to Nevada, Tennessee, Florida & Alabama over the next 40 years. He loved the change of season and all the history in the south. He loved history & politics and enjoyed following the many political campaigns. He loved family, church, country & baseball. He traveled the world and loved to learn about the many places and cultures his travels took him. He loved his black Labradors female dogs he named them all Midnight (Middy) he had during his lifetime.

Preceded in death by Father George Boaz, Mother Jeanie Boaz, Daughter Jennie, & James Partlow stepson.
