Bob served 24 years in the U.S. Navy as a BMCS-DV1. He also was employed by the Escambia County Board of Education after his Navy Retirement.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jo. He is also survived by his son, Michael (Cyndi); grandchildren, Cory (Holley), Josh (Amber); great-grandchildren, Collin (Jaylin); brothers, Pete (Jean), Ron (Sue); sisters, Pat Blankenship, Michelle (Mark); sister in-law, Diane Casart and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Oak Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm with an inurnment to take place at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:05 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association. Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
