

Robert Lee Freeney, Jr. was born the third child to parents Robert Lee & Louise Freeney, Sr., both of whom have preceded him in death. Robert Freeney, Jr. accepted christ into his life at a young age and joined New Tabernacle Baptist Church in the Tan Yard where he grew up. He graduated high school from Pensacola High School class of 73 and went right into the work field as a truck driver for the Coca-Cola Company. During this transition time is when Robert met the mother of his children and former wife Betty Freeney. The two had three daughters from their union, Maesha Gulley (Brad) of Pensacola, FL, Latreese Freeney of Pensacola, FL & Karlesa Seals (DeMichael) of Montgomery, AL. Robert traveled all over the county delivering refreshing beverages to vendors, keeping smiles on millions of faces.
Robert enjoyed life and took advantage of opportunities to celebrate it to the fullest. He enjoyed social gatherings, planning and participating in activities with his class like fish fry’s and class trips like cruises. Robert spent much of this time the past 15 years celebrating and enjoying life with his long-term girlfriend, Miranda Glover. Robert enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching football and educating himself on the history of coins.
Including his children and long term girlfriend, Robert leaves to cherish in his memory: two sisters, Mary Dobbins of Pensacola, FL, Patricia White of Pensacola, FL, Four Nieces, One nephew, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; a host of great-nieces and nephews; as well as close lifelong friends, Charles (Hawk), Larry, Ernest, Mr. Lett, & Mac and many more; and as close as family as could be Ms.Hattie, Everett & Jackie Holley. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister Helen Johnson and Patrick Johnson.
