

Stan Haskew was born in Jefferson Co, AL on December 3, 1933 to loving parents John and Lona Haskew. Stan attended Jones Valley School from 1st grade thru 12th grade where he met the love of his life Iris Sparks. Upon graduation Stan went to work at Swift Meat Packing company driving a delivery truck. Iris would graduate the very next year and upon her graduation they immediately got married on June 3rd, 1953. In 1955, Stan and Iris, along with Iris’s family, moved to Pensacola, Fl where Stan and Iris both went to work at American Cyanamid. Stan worked in the warehouse and Iris was the switchboard operator. In 1965 Stan left American Cyanamid and went work for his father-in-law at Sparks Specialty, Iris continued to work at American Cyanamid for another year before going to work at Sparks Specialty. Stan worked at Sparks specialty for more than 50 years when he finally decided to retire. Stan and Iris were two of the last Charter members of Cokesbury Methodist church, Stan being the last Charter member.
Stan is survived by his two sons Robert Jr. and wife Christine, Wes and wife Michelle, four grandchildren Branden Haskew (Sarah), Kristy Cihota(Tom), Addison Haskew, Isabella Haskew, and four great grandchildren Carter Cihota, Charlotte Cihota, Bennett Haskew and Lily Haskew. Stan loved his Children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His face would light up when they came to visit, he loved showing off his different animated toys and giving out flashlights to everyone he met. You will be greatly missed, love you Dad, D-dad, Stan !!

A Funeral Service will occur Monday, February 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3351 Scenic Highway 90e, Pensacola, FL 32503. A Graveside Service will occur Monday, February 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 3351 Scenic Highway 90e, Pensacola, FL 32503.
