To a member of Robert B. Heidt family.

Bob was a class mate of mine at Roger Bacon H.S. in the class of 1951. 
I understand that Bob was in the Miliary.  I'm tryuing to find out the "Active years" he served. Example ARMY   52 -  54;, That is it.
HOWEVER, you may also Email this information to President Steven J. Schad  "SSchad@rogerbacon.org" if you wish.  He will acknowledge a letter to you personally, for the information.  Bob will then have his military time on the "Wall of Honor" displayed at Bacon.  No charge, I'm trying to find only the Class of 1951.

Bruce my brother, was 10 years older.  I looked up to big brother and tried to emulate him.  I took Art in high school but was never as good an artist as Bruce.  He also wrote poetry and he was very proud one of his poems was published in the Xavier University paper when he attended there.  Barbara and I  always  enjoyed visiting Bruce & Alice in Pensacola. I will miss Uncle Bruce and seeing him when he came to family gathering i love u REST IN PEACE I WILL MISS U 

Bruce loved Writing,  Photography and Magic.  His magic shows are fondly remembered by my children and some of my grandchildren.  He has had some poetry and other works published.  He wrote a daily devotional which was emailed to more than 300 people daily.  He will be remembered by many.    

So sorry for your loss I knew the Heidt family when they lived in Indianapolis in the 70s accually they was my neighbors recently I reconnected with Greg and Mr Heidt thru facebook God be with you in your time of need Terry Daniels
