Robert Sherman Lucas, 70, formerly of Pensacola, died Thursday, August 21, 2014 in El Paso, Texas.
Robert Lucas was born December 1, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Maude Poynter and Sherman Lucas.
He is survived by his son, Robert Sherman Lucas, Jr. (Caron), of Pensacola, FL; daughters, Connie Tyler (Frank), of Jacksonville, FL and Karen Wade (Richard) of El Paso, TX; brother- in- law, Jarvis Jackson and wife Fanny of Key West, FL; eight grandchildren, Aaron Robert Wade, Jamie Cole, Robert S. Lucas III, Alexis Lucas, Michael Tena, Brent King, Nina Rowland and Desiree King; twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday.
