Robert Arton Williams

Robert Arton 95, of Pensacola, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at West Florida Hospital under the care of Hospice. He was born to the late Joseph Curtis and Daisy (nee: Wilson) Williams on July 20, 1919 in Corbin, Kentucky. Serving honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII and continuing as an Electrician, for different contractors. Moving to Pensacola in the 90's from Barbourville, KY with his loving wife 68 years Gladys, who preceded him in death in 2011.He was a member of the Mason's, Eastern Star, and Warrington Baptist Church.He is survived by his son, Robbie Arton Williams and his wife Patty; daughter, Bobbie Joe Rawls and her husband Dale; four grandsons, Matthew (April) Williams, Andrew (Erin) Williams, Daniel Williams, and Daniel Powers.In Lieu of Flowers donations may be given to Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital.Family will receive friends Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 2:00 PM -3:00 PM, Services will begin at 3:00 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 850-453-2321 Roberts final rest will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery Friday, Feb 6, 2015 at 1:15 PM with U.S. Navy Honors.
