Ronald L. Bauer

Ronald joined the United States Navy as a young man and spent many years serving as a skilled aircraft mechanic. It was during this time in the service that he met his wife of 57 years, Rose Marie. After retirement from the military, Ron settled in the Pensacola area and worked in different areas of civil service, including NAS and Whiting Field.

Ron enjoyed to travel with his family when his children were younger, and continued to travel with Rose well into their retirement. One of their favorite destinations was Biloxi, this was where many of their trips were taken together over the years.

Ronald is preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Rose Marie Bauer and his daughter, Dawn Michelle Hohlenkamp. He is survived by his son, Ronald P. Bauer; his grandchildren, Lorenz Hohlenkamp, Evan Hohlenkamp and Harrison Hohlenkamp; brothers, Bill Bauer and Bob Bauer; and a sister, Mary Frics.

A visitation will be held at St Mary Catholic Church, located at 401 Van Pelt Ln, Pensacola, FL, on December 3, 2025, at 10:00, with a funeral mass to begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
