Ronnie Erwin DeLatte

Ronnie proudly served in the United States Navy from October 29th 1959 to July 23rd 1974. He retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer and was employed by the Department of Defense, NADDAP, and Sikorski. He attended school in McComb, MS, and graduated from Troy State University.

Ronnie was an avid Florida Gator and New Orleans Saints fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Terri Virdue Griffith DeLatte, Ruldolph DeLatte; brothers, Rudy DeLatte, Leonard DeLatte; and sister, Joyce Pelletier.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Alene DeLatte; daughter, Ronda (Bruce) Kelly; son, Eric DeLatte; brother, Dale DeLatte; grandchildren, Kimberly and David Kelly, Jessica DeLatte; and four great grandchildren.

Ronnie's family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors.
